Welcome to an exciting new year of West Middleton Youth Baseball and Softball Club. We are excited about the improvements we are working on. We are adding more developmental opportunities for players and coaches, improvements to the fields, updating equipment and uniforms. We are growing our partnership with Champions International Baseball Academy to enhance both the development and the competitive leagues. We are proud of our Sandlot program that offers pickup baseball/softball throughout the summer.
The West Middleton Youth Baseball and Softball Club provides youth leagues for boys and girls to match all levels of development and competition. Home games are played at the beautiful Pioneer Park ball fields in the Town of Middleton. We welcome the opportunity to provide a great summer activity for your children.
Baseball leagues start at T-ball, for boys and girls, progress through the development leagues and go up through competitive teams playing in the Dane Co. Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth leagues. Last year we had teams competing in local tournaments, including winning a couple events and finishing 2nd and 4th in the state tournament. We hope to build on that success in 2012. This year we are introducing the Storm Club as the competitive group of teams. Last year we introduced the Tornado team and plan to add more. In addition, a new 50/70 Cal Ripken league will be added this year at the 12U level providing a more exciting style of play.
Girls softball leagues are available for players in the current grades 1-HS. Teams start at 1st-2nd grade with the coach pitching and then start pitching by themselves at the 3rd grade and above levels. We will support a high school team if there is enough interest.
In addition to league play, we will be providing a skills clinic for coaches and players. Coaches clinics will occur in April and players clinics will be in May and June. Throughout the summer, players can attend the Sandlot program and have fun playing ball, work on their skills or just get rid of some energy.
Registration will begin in February and can be done online, through the mail or in person. Scholarships are available. Details to be posted soon. In addition, we would love to have you join in helping us develop the program as a coach, coordinator or other activity.
Review the information under the baseball and softball tabs. If you have questions, email

I truly hope your son or daughter has a great season!
